NTX Empire is an emerging AAU basketball organization in Grapevine, TX
Our basketball organization is committed to offering the highest level of individual/team development and play. At this time we are currently in the process of forming several teams in different age groups. Our program is year round, setting us apart from most AAU organizations.
North Texas Empire is built for players who want to rise above average. We focus on developing every athlete’s confidence, mindset, and skill through high-level coaching, competition, and accountability. Our program pushes players to work hard, think smart, and lead with integrity — because in the Empire, effort earns everything.
Head Coach - CJ McElrath
With over 15 years of coaching and training experience, CJ has had the privilege of working with players of all ages and skill levels. His passion for basketball has driven him to continuously seek ways to enhance his coaching abilities and deliver impactful training sessions. He is dedicated to fostering a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages teamwork, discipline, and personal growth.
As a former McDonald's All-American Nominee and Division 1 basketball player at Westpoint, CJ has a deep understanding of the game and the dedication it takes to excel at the highest level. His own experience as a player has shaped his coaching philosophy, emphasizing the importance of fundamentals, work ethic, and mental resilience.
CJ's coaching approach focuses not only on improving technical skills but also on instilling important life values such as perseverance, sportsmanship, and leadership. Through tailored drills, structured practices, and engaging workouts, he is committed to helping your children develop their basketball prowess while building character and self-confidence.
